Exploring ecological grief

I am so thankful for this generative and inspiring conversation on the ambiguity, power, and expansiveness of ecological grief with Lisa Keefauver on her podcast, Grief is a Sneaky Bitch.

Lisa does a beautiful job of inviting her guests to “open up about the complexity, confusion, and even confidence they have gained by navigating a grief journey of their own.” On this particular episode, we discussed the deep grief scientists are facing as the the populations they love and study are disappearing before their eyes, and how experiencing this kind of profound loss can help us connect to the hope necessary to stay active in saving the ecosystems that we are in relationship with. We are part of a collective that is much bigger than we often imagine.
