Back in January 2017, an amazing journalist, Livia Albeck-Ripka, travelled to Rigolet, Nunatsiavut to learn about the ways in which climate change is impacting Inuit lives, livelihoods, culture, and mental wellness. During her time in the community, she had the opportunity to learn from a variety of people and spend time on the land. After returning home, she spent the last months researching and writing a great article, and is now sharing this story in the The New York Times.
The article is illustrated beautifully by Heather Campbell, a fine artist originally from Rigolet, Nunatsiavut.
